WARM-UPS: 5:00 for home team and 5:30 for visitors.

SEATING: The entire back deck of the pool will be reserved for our visiting team.
There are lots of chairs, but feel free to bring your own as well. Our welcome
hostesses will be happy to help you locate a seat.

CONCESSIONS: BUTCHER’S BEST MEATS AND DELI will be on-site grilling
burgers, chicken, and other tasty items for purchase in addition to our usual fare
of treats, pizza, and candy. You won’t be able to resist the smell of the grill, so
come hungry!!

SWIMMER CHECK-IN: We ask that ALL swimmers check-in upon arrival.

VOLUNTEERS: We ask that ALL volunteers check-in upon arrival. There will be
a mandatory volunteer meeting at 5:30 to review roles and responsibilities.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: We will ask all athletes and parents to stand by the side
of the pool and join us for the singing of the National Anthem at 5:50 prior to the
start of the meet. ALL pee-wee swimmers are invited to join in as flag holders.

HILLCREST YOUTH TRIATHLON: We would like to invite all Polo Fields athletes
and friends between the ages of 4 and 16 to join us for our Fourth Annual Hillcrest
Youth Triathlon on Saturday, August 18, 2012. For more info and to register,

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

From central Louisville or inner suburbs:  Take Watterson Expressway to Brownsboro
Road (US 42) and turn right going east. Go 6-7 miles on US 42, past Gene Snyder
Freeway (Ky 841) and through Prospect to approximately 1 mile past the Oldham
County line (highway goes from 4 lanes to 2 at the county line).  Turn left at the first
light in Oldham County (Bank of Oldham County on left). This street is Ridgemoor Drive
although there is no street sign.  Go about ½ mile, past Goshen Elementary on right;
the parking area, pool, and clubhouse is located on the left.

From outer suburbs in Jefferson county, Shelby County, or Bullitt County:  Take Gene
Snyder Freeway North until it ends at US 42 (past I-71).  Turn right and go about 3-4
miles, through Prospect, to about 1 mile past the Oldham County line (highway goes
from 4 lanes to 2 at the county line).  Turn left at the first light in Oldham County (Bank
of Oldham County on left).  This street is Ridgemoor Drive although there is no street
sign.  Go about ½ mile, past Goshen Elementary on right; the parking area, pool and
clubhouse is located on left.

From east of Hillcrest in Oldham County:  Take US 42 west 1-2 miles past light at KY
1793 to main entrance of Hillcrest (on right); pool and clubhouse are traight ahead.

PARKING: Parking lot, plus street (only one side of street, closest to clubhouse)
 
FOOD AVAILABLE: Pizza, sandwiches, hot dogs, variety of snacks and drinks.

SEATING: Available seating on pool deck usually accommodates most teams during
meets.  However, if visiting team is large, families may want to consider bringing chairs
as a precaution.

HEAT SHEET SALES: Heat sheets will NOT be available for purchase.

PLAYGROUND/BABY POOL: Climbing play set recommended for children ages 5 to
12 years with adult supervision; baby pool closed during meets.
